Where Does a Wix SEO Consultant Add Most Value?
Most Wix sites I review have the same handful of issues. Pages carry more apps, animations, galleries and embedded widgets than they need, which slows mobile loading. Store and blog URLs follow default prefixes nobody chose on purpose. Multilingual versions exist, but some translated pages are thin or missing their own titles and descriptions.
Moves cause the biggest losses. When a site arrives on Wix, or leaves it, old addresses need mapping one by one, and on Wix that means the 301 redirect manager. Before recommending a move at all, I check whether your goals truly need a different platform. Often the honest answer is to stay and fix what you have, which costs far less than a rebuild.

Is Wix bad for SEO?
Not any more. Today’s Wix gives you editable titles, descriptions and URL slugs, automatic sitemaps, canonical tags, a robots.txt editor and a redirect manager. The problems I see on Wix sites are mostly about page weight, content and links, which matter on every platform.
Should I move my website away from Wix?
Only if Wix stops you doing something your business genuinely needs, such as complex custom functionality or very large catalogues. A move costs time and risks rankings. I give you an honest comparison first, and if you stay, we fix the real problems on Wix.
How do you protect rankings during a migration?
I list every indexed URL on the old site, match each one to its new address, and set up permanent 301 redirects, using Wix’s redirect manager when Wix is the destination. Titles, content and internal links are carried across, then I monitor Search Console closely after launch.

Yes, particularly for specific product and category searches. Unique product descriptions, clear category pages, product structured data, good images and fast pages help a Wix Stores shop compete with much larger retailers on the searches that suit it.
Does Wix handle multilingual SEO?
Wix offers built-in multilingual tools that create separate language versions and add hreflang tags. What it cannot do is write strong translated content for you. I check each language has proper titles, descriptions and copy aimed at how people search in that market.
